Among the permanent collections of the Grand Curtius, the arms department occupies a special place, entirely dedicated to one of the most characteristic industries of Liège: the armory. Since November 24, 2023, it has presented to visitors its new section of knives and protective equipment for military use.
As of Monday, October 4, 2021 and due to exceptional preventive measures, the permanent collection of the glass department will not be accessible until further notice.
Due to strike action on Thursday 13 February 2025, only the exhibition "Kroll launches bottles into the sea" will be on show at the Grand Curtius. The permanent collections will not be accessible..

The Grand Curtius will be closed on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 December 2024 and on Tuesday 31 December 2024 and Wednesday 1 January 2025. The museum team wishes you a happy festive season!
