Gallery of remarkable women

Saturday 17 June at 4pm will see the inauguration of the “Galleries of women” exhibition, which is offered by the Soroptimist of Liège at the Grand Curtius museum. The exhibition will pay tribute to some remarkable women from our country. 70 portraits for 70 years of action in favour of women! The choice was made based on their profession (which was exceptional for their time), their charisma and their personality. For example, you will see Fabienne Bister (industry), Hélène Dutieux (aviation), Anne Froidbise (music), Lise Thiry (medicine), Claire Préaux (history), Pascale Van Leeuwen (army) and even Hortense Montéfiore-Levi (philanthropy).
